Synopsis
Joana returns to the MST settlement where she spent her childhood, this time as a teacher. Among memories, traumas and dreams, she pieces her own story back together. Like fireflies in the dark, her recollections light up the affections, territories and experiences of the struggle for land, stitching together a delicate patchwork of past and present.

Maikon Nery is a film director and audiovisual maker, and a co-founder of the collective Filmes ao Vento, based in Londrina, in the north of Paraná. He directed the shorts Visões (2022), A Grande Nuvem de Magalhães (2023) and Dança dos Vagalumes (2025), and this year released the experimental film Bomba & Brigitte Bardot.
