Het bezoek retells a young woman's visit to two friends. A set of ordinary, almost clichéd gestures and lines of dialogue is filmed multiple times over two separate days, each take staged a little differently. In the edit, these versions are cut together and alternated, jumping between shots with distinct tones, timeframes, behaviours and meanings.
